ABOUT KRISTIN

TyHoltanPhotography-8-1.jpg

Born in Vancouver and raised in sunny White Rock, Kristin started playing in yoga poses as a child. Ever curious, she found a book on yoga in her home library and copied the images, bending and twisting herself into various shapes.

In 2013, after studying overseas Kristin returned to Vancouver and found herself drained and lethargic. Unable to pinpoint the cause of her dis-ease she started a regular yoga practice and within six months noticed her energy and strength increase along with her vitality. Seven years later she was inspired to take her 200 hour teacher training at the Lila school of Vinyasa yoga with Clara Roberts-Oss and Carolyn Anne Budgell.

Her passion to teach and diversify her knowledge led her to study with teachers such as Bernie Clark, Max Strom, Ana Forrest and Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa.

Kristin teaches Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin styles of yoga. Her aim, simply put is “To give students the tools to face life’s challenges with ease and grace.”

She believes yoga is a healing journey, leading you all the way back home to yourself.

Kristin is based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

“I would like to acknowledge the traditional, ancestral, unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations on which we are learning, working, living, and practicing today.”
